"The Ardendales retreat house was absolutely perfect for our group.   It is very clean and cosy with all the amenities you need but feels like you are removed from the fast paced world.  There was plenty of space for us to gather together, as well as, enough space for everyone to find some solitude.  The grounds were beautiful and serene and we especially enjoyed the screened in sitting area in the back garden.  It was a pleasure working with the owners and they even helped us find caterers for our event.  I would highly recommend Ardendales and we will definitely return."

"We had a family wedding on Saturday and since there were eight of us travelling from NY and then picking up my husband's 90 year old Mom on the way we wanted a house to rent and not have to stay in hotel. This house was PERFECT!! We had so much room to spread out and yet the living room was so huge we could sit around and talk together as well. Everything was provided and the grounds are stunning. Sunday was so beautiful sitting out in the sun. Shanta is such a great person to deal with and made the booking process seamless. Also our nephew who uses a wheel chair had no problem riding up the ramp to the front door and visiting with us. Hope we get a chance to visit again!"

We rented this house for a bridal party. The house was beautiful, everything was perfect. The beds slept wonderfully, we enjoyed exploring the house. "Our family rented Ardendales for a week over the holidays. We consisted of 10 adults and 5 small children. We found the facilities extremely well-equipped for our group size, with a great fully-equipped kitchen for fixing meals, a large dining space, plenty of bathrooms, and several large and small gathering places, both inside and out. The large fenced-in lawn had a beautiful new deck with a screened-in room and a large grill which we made good use of. The hostess, Shanta, was quick to answer our numerous inquiries ahead of time and our arrival was complimented with a “goodie” basket and even a decorated Christmas tree! We spent our days swimming with the manatees, watching a mermaid show at Weeki Wachee, hiking in the state forest, playing on the playground near the house, exploring the beach on Pine Island, and just walking around Brooksville’s scenic downtown and bike trails. We would highly recommend Ardendales to anyone looking for a well-equipped facility with plenty of room to roam."

Great Property

My family came from around the country to attend my daughter’s wedding. I was looking for a property that would accommodate all 12 of us. We wanted family and friend time. This property was perfect! Not only was the house conducive to bedroom/bathroom needs, but the kitchen, dining room and living room areas made entertaining and visiting easy and timeless. The property is clean and well maintained. The grounds are well kept and the area it beautiful. I highly recommend it.

I cannot recommend this gorgeous historic house more! We rented it for 3 nights and it accommodated our entire wedding party perfectly! There was plenty of room and great amenities - we loved playing croquet in the beautiful yard! Beat is a top notch host - we were welcomed with treats and even a homemade pie! We are looking forward to returning to beautiful Ardendales one day!
